MPower
TVO - 2015 - 2017
Summary
MPower was a collaborative effort between TVO and the Ontario Ministry of Education to create a suite of math games that could be used as a teaching tool in the Ontario classroom. MPower aimed to provide learning opportunities for math concepts that students in grades 3-6 often struggled in.
My Role
Lead Game Designer
As the lead game designer, I was tasked with designing the overall gameplay. As a collaboration, it was my job to work with both the creative team to design a fun experience and with the educators to ensure the games were accurately presenting core math concepts. Over two years, I helped design the world of MPower with over 20 curriculum supported games.
